11:11 - The 2012 Phenomenon

Many have noticed a digital read-out of 11:11 and taken it to be of significance. The language is binary, the alphabet is "0" and "1" ; effectively off and on or active and passive, the latter indicating no effect or change in play. "0" is usually an adjustment period preceding or following an episode of change. Taking note of the digital configuration as it catches your attention can tell you where you are in the process.

The stacked dot symbol ":" is a divider. The symbol represents completely neutral space separating unique realities.

Possible Configurations -

01:00
01:01
01:11
01:10

10:00
10:01
10:11
10:10

11:00
11:01
11:11
11:10

"11:11" represents the current "normal" reality. Life is simply being lived with all its idiosyncrasies and seemingly bizarre events.

The initial "1" is carry-over from the previous reality or realities. It may represent Fate, karma or ancestral layering. It is usually concerned with influences that affect the group. For instance, it could indicate carbon-based life as opposed to silicon. At any rate, it describes the basic nature of the current reality as filtered through previous realities. These realities may or may not have been successful expressions.

The second "1" is more personal and may be thought of as Destiny. Individual choice, as much as it exists, operates here.

The ":" is null space. It is an indication of "no reality". Nothing happens here. It is a reset switch.

The third "1" represents the first occurrence of a new reality, or set of conditions, distinct and unique from the previous set. It also is more personal and may be thought of as Destiny. Individual choice, as much as it exists, operates here.

The final "1" is the set reality. No more changes are available. Whatever choices made before are experienced here for better or worse until the next cyclic reset.

Solar Eclipse 2012

Timeline:

5:37 pm Arizona time. I am watching the solar eclipse by the moon. There is a tiny bit of moon shadow in the lower east section of the sun, just a sliver so far though. I'll check back in 10 minutes.

5:49 pm. Ooooh! There's a nice crescent being cut out of the sun right now. I am using a pair of 8 power binoculars with one end sealed off and the other covered by a sun filter. I can see several sun spots that the moon is covering over. I'll check in five minute intervals from now on.

5:55 pm. Nice movement of the moon across the suns face. It is blocking more of the sun's face and moving in a north west direction - up and to the left.

6:04 pm. Same as before...nice steady movement. I have started a Photoshop sequence of the eclipse.

6:10 pm. The southern edge of the moon has reached the halfway point of the solar face.

6:18 pm. The sun now resembles a crescent moon.

6:25 pm. Still more crescent. The sunlight is now a mellow soft tint as opposed to the usual harsh strength of a summer's day. Obviously there is something happening in the sky.

6:35 pm. Very mellow and shadowy tinted, as if the air were being filtered through a haze or a fog.

6:40 pm. I don't think we are going to get a "ring of fire" effect. The moon is traveling too far up and is not centering.

6:45 pm. Darker now, even more mellow almost like an autumn evening. A little cooler too, not much but noticeable. The sun resembles a Shriner's crescent - lower part is showing while the top is blocked by the passing moon.

6:55 pm. I think I'll leave it here unless something very unusual happens. I was hoping for the "ring of fire" effect, but no such luck. Nice show nonetheless.

Here is the animated Gif.

Me & Facebook cont'd...

No, not a scam. It was really the Facebook Team asking for identity confirmation. They want to be certain that the demographic info they gather can be cross-referenced to an ongoing database that collects info from browsers and website cookies and such.

I might look into the other FB options, but I have to decide if I want to play FB again. It takes a lot of work staying involved and dealing with the "opinions" one can encounter in discussion groups. Facebook is becoming a legal liability. If someone can be certain that the FB profile is really you, it can be used in legal proceedings, by collectors, employers, the IRS and other more clandestine government agencies in this country and abroad. By asking for identity confirmation, FB could be placing people at risk.

Greed is the only reason Facebook will not allow the uncomplicated use of screen names or web identities. Forgive me if I do not trust in Facebook's reassurance that my information will be kept private or will be deleted after my identity is verified. The operators of this particular social media have not been honest in the past and show no signs of being honest or truthful in the future.

Remember MySpace? With their overbearing presence, it won't be long before the question asked will be: Remember Facebook?

Me & Facebook...

Hello People!

I have not been around FB for a while and have included correspondence between myself and the FB team should you care to read it. They want me to prove I am a real person. Until I do, I am shut out. What a life.

I hope all is well with you. Here are the FB emails...

Thank you for the opportunity, however, I am not applying for membership in your social media club. I liked it better when you sought your profit invisibly. The Facebook team has gotten an inflated opinion of itself since the real possibility of going public has presented itself. At best Facebook is entertainment, not a life's necessity. Much of the internet is fantasy and role play, Facebook is no exception. It has come, and it will go. In my opinion, you are taking yourselves much too seriously and are alienating the people who made you popular.

I know I am a real person, and I am interested in: as opposed to what? Facebook has taken phishing to an elevated level. By requesting legal documentation, you become a hazard and a risk. I do not need a knock on my door late in the night or early in the morning for something I may or may not have posted on FB. If I disappear, I want it to be on my own terms.

Perhaps a reality check is in order. Who is your customer and what do they want? Who can provide the product and at what price? You ask too much in exchange for too little.

Respectfully,

Corporate Identity...This Week: God

(or gods since the idea of only a single god came later).

1 generally unavailable; rarely interacts directly with the humans
2 knows more than I do
3 is secretive about the agenda
4 accepts requests if properly formatted
5 provides and protects
6 punishes transgressions - mine and those who transgress against me
7 there is some confusion over creation, which god is said to have done, but god only worked with the available material and fashioned it into something habitable.
8 establishes law and sets moral values
9 is not limited by divine law, but is held to it
10 has mysterious powers
11 employs humans
12 has favorites
13 has divine assistants who are even more unavailable than god
14 has a program of promotion; it is possible for humans to move up in the hierarchy
15 has a home office
16 offers a retirement package
17 accepts resignations while leaving open the possibility of reinstatement
18 has a weird understanding of physical laws which at times seems miraculous
19 is harsh but fair
20 keeps records
21 occasionally updates policy
22 takes corrective measures
23 cleans house
24 hands out assignments
25 sometimes engages in sexual activity with the help
26 specializes, in the case of multiple gods, with a central overseer who does not possess the same skill set.
27 encourages regular team meetings
28 has a handbook available for any who care to read it (which few do)

Sounds a lot like a large corporation, doesn't it.

I just realized something. God may be the First Cause of the universe, but not necessarily of anything else. If we step outside the universe, we may see that God is just a clerk sitting at a desk somewhere peeling the foil off gum wrappers.

Functional Illusions

There are many functional illusions that we operate from automatically and very seldom question. Unless you have tendencies toward philosophy or mysticism, it might never occur to you that the only existence you can be certain of is your own; everything else could be the product of your brain's output or the brain's five sense interpretation of some raw generic substance that, in combination with you as the observer, makes up existence.

We generally do not consider the functional illusions we operate from because it would pretty much drive us crazy. Can we conceive of no beginning and no end, or does everything require a cause for us to have it make sense? Causal reality is a functional illusion. Who is to say that cause and effect are absolutely necessary? Might something have always been and always will be? The human mind rejects the thought in a way similar to how it rejects the thought of a reality lacking the forward flow of time. No past, no present, no future...only a constant moment of 'Now'? For many a constant 'Now' is hard to conceive, let alone achieve.

We are provided from birth with our functional illusions and when they do not develop, we think of it as a problem or a disability. Curious then, how we strive as adults to recapture that moment before the illusions set in and call it a spiritual journey.

Comparisons...

AUTISTIC - Mystical
  1. Fact based consciousness - Thoughts and experiences organized chronologically or by logical categories (Philosophical thinker; many features of what we commonly call reality cannot be proven as being real) (Are events organized Chronologically or Sequentially? Do logical categories mean by relationship to each other?)
  2. Knowledge as the goal, analysis as the tool - The autistic has simple desires, such as to fulfill curiosity and avoid trouble (Desire for peace and exploration; witness consciousness)
  3. Emotions are at the edges of consciousness, tying together any unexplainable areas (Similar to how the God concept is used to explain the unexplainable)
  4. Thinks in imagery. Audio-visual imagination separated from tactile senses (like watching a movie) (Spiritual Tongue; ability to visualize; pre-language; thoughts without words; poetic pictures) (Some call the state of being this document describes a modabid. A modabid is a dream of colors and spoken images.)
  5. Self has an open boundary - tends assume that other people are like them and trusts them equally (I am You, You are me) (Namaste)
  6. Consciousness does not "mark" non-verbal behavior as important, thus dismissing them as irrelevant (mind takes precedence over body, the mind may not be in full control of the body)
  7. Consciousness experienced mostly through the self as the experiences and thoughts of an individual (Subjective reality)
  8. Locus of control weak or missing - the autistic does not experience a strong sense of control over his thoughts, emotions and deeds ("God's will, not mine" Pre-determined universe. Submission of the individual will. Detachment)
(Strict rituals - repetitive ritualistic activity - religious ceremony; sacred rites; structured prayer)

NON-AUTISTIC - Physical
  1. People based consciousness - Thoughts and emotions are organized by human archetypes or experiences with people (Stereotypes)
  2. Fulfilling desires as the goal, exercising influence as the tool - All thought, words and deeds are aimed to create the right influence among other people to achieve desires (Manipulation)
  3. Emotions at the core of consciousness, indistinguishable from other conscious experience (Emotions and desires over mind and reason)
  4. Tactile senses complement audio-visual imagination without any separation in one's imagination (Sight and Touch are fused; non-physicality is taken as not being possible; religion over spirituality)
  5. Self has a closed boundary - tends to bond with those they feel "comfortable" with; regulates people with different levels of trust & information access (A sense of Separation and Difference; I am not you; you are not me)
  6. Consciousness reacts instantly to subtle changes in non-verbal cues: Reactive Predictive Communications (physical hyper-vigilance...? More manipulation...?)
  7. Consciousness experienced mostly through one's social circle as the collective impression one has created (not really interested in others but of the impression they have of you) (They tell you what they want you to believe rather than telling you the truth yet still believe they are indeed telling you the truth)
  8. Locus of control inherent - the non-autistic experiences his thoughts, emotions and deeds as willed by himself (Individual will rules; concept of free will is firmly established; Master of my own Destiny)

An'Qarin PrayerBook by modabid al-Adel Hassan in Religion & Spirituality

The modabid's An'Qarin Prayer Book is a collection of brief perspectives into what it means to be chosen by the Divine. Such an honor is not always the blessing it might seem. The chosen undergoes an emotional and psychological change that cannot be reversed. Some call it Enlightenment, some call it a nightmare.
